This former bus garage revolutionised London clubland when it opened in the early 1990s. With its amazing soundsystem and attention to detail, Ministry played a big part in the ‘90s house music explosion by booking a load of the top US jocks to fly over to the UK and creating line-ups around them. They were a timely home for UK garage for a while, too, and a bit of drum & bass, but as other top London clubs like Fabric and The End put on cooler underground nights, Ministry line-ups started looking a little tired and largely catering for tourists.
