Amusan advances to women’s 100m hurdles semis

Reigning 100m women’s hurdles world champion, Tobi Amusan, yesterday, made Nigeria proud as she qualified for the semi-finals stage at the ongoing 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Amusan finished first in Heat five with a time of 12.48secs to land in the final.
The Commonwealth champion outshines the likes of Mega Tapper from Jamaica who finished in 12.51secs, Michelle Janneke from Australia, 12.71secs and Natalia Chritofi, who finished in 12:90secs.
Recall Amusan at the last World Championships, Oregon 2022 won the gold in a world record time of 12.12secs.
