Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Tracy Ekwe, has opened up on why she declined a romantic relationship with fellow contestant, Kuture.

Speaking during her post-eviction interview, Tracy said while she valued Kuture as a friend, she did not see him as a compatible partner.

“Kuture is my friend. He wanted more, but I didn’t want more,” she stated.

Explaining further, she noted that their personalities clashed despite his good qualities. “He can’t be my person even though he is amazing. I think we have two different personalities,” she added.

One of the key reasons, according to her, was Kuture’s excessive talkativeness. Tracy said she chose not to interfere with his behavior in the house, as it seemed to be part of what endeared him to viewers.

“There were some things about him I wasn’t okay with, but I didn’t want to change him because we are in a game and maybe that’s why people like him,” she explained.

She also acknowledged that Kuture’s lively personality played a role in keeping him in the competition. “I came to find out that people like Kuture because he’s a parrot. So, imagine if I had changed him and he became quiet, he would have gone home by now,” she said.

Tracy maintained that her decision was not based on dislike but on incompatibility. “Our personalities are just not compatible. Besides that, he’s not my type,” she concluded.
