BBNAIJA’S TUOYO ALLEGES BRUTALITY, PROMISES LAWSUIT AGAINST NDLEA

Written by on October 30, 2025

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh has announced his intention to take legal action against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), following what he describes as brutality during a nightclub raid in Lagos.

The NDLEA conducted an early morning operation at Proxy Nightclub in Victoria Island on Sunday, October 26, 2025, resulting in the arrest of over 100 patrons, including popular Lagos socialite Pretty Mike and Tuoyo Ideh.

Tuoyo claimed that NDLEA operatives beat and humiliated him during the raid, leaving him both physically injured and emotionally distressed.

In an Instagram post, he revealed that three days after the incident, he is still recovering, but expressed gratitude to fans, friends, and colleagues for their support, which he said has helped him endure the difficult period.

He wrote:
“It’s been three days since the NDLEA incident, and I won’t lie, I’m still trying to process everything. I’m still in pain and traumatized, but I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has reached out, from my DMs to calls and messages—it has honestly kept me going. Nevertheless, I have decided to take legal action against the infringement of my human rights, and I hope justice will take its full course. Thank you once again.”

Tuoyo’s statement underscores the growing concerns over the conduct of law enforcement during high-profile operations in Lagos nightlife spots.
