Grammy-winning Nigerian Afrobeat star, Burna Boy, has admitted that despite converting from Christianity to Islam and studying several religions, he still struggles to find spiritual clarity.

In a recent interview, the artist Damini Ogulu said he was raised in a Christian home simply because it was the faith of his parents and the community he grew up in.

According to him, he later made a personal decision to embrace Islam but continues to explore other belief systems in search of deeper understanding.

“Of course, because that’s what your parents believe and that’s what you were born into. Growing up, I was a Christian and then I converted to Islam,” Burna Boy said. “It’s like I’ve studied it all, but I’m still out here trying to find out what is really going on, you know? The more I research, the more confused I get.”

The African Giant crooner, known for his introspective lyrics and global success, said his ongoing spiritual journey has left him questioning many long-held beliefs while seeking a truth that resonates personally.
