The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two more individuals wanted in connection with a suspected cryptocurrency fraud linked to the now-defunct Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) platform.
In a statement released yesterday via its official social media platforms, the anti-graft agency named the suspects as Folashade Odelana, 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32.
The EFCC accused both individuals of allegedly orchestrating fraudulent activities through the CBEX trading platform, resulting in significant financial losses for unsuspecting investors.
“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the commission stated.
The EFCC added that their last known address was No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The agency urged members of the public with useful information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the nearest EFCC office or the police.
