Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the decision of his uncle, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to resign from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Davido simply reposted the announcement on X with the caption “Jeje…” today.

It is a comment many social media users have interpreted as a call for calm.

Adeleke made his resignation from PDP public last night. But the letter itself was dated November 4, 2025 and addressed to the chairman of Ward 2 in Ede North.

The governor claimed that unresolved issues within the PDP national leadership was the reason he left the party.

Adeleke’s decision to quit the opposition party, has created uncertainty ahead of their governorship primary for the 2026 Osun election.
