Eagle FM Hosts 3rd Ramadan Lecture, Explores Prophetic Economic Model

Eagle 102.5 FM is set to hold its 3rd annual Ramadan Lecture on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at its premises in Ilese-Ijebu. The event, scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, will bring together scholars, dignitaries, and members of the public for an insightful discussion on economic development through the lens of Islamic teachings.

This year’s lecture will be delivered by Prof. Saheed Olurotimi Timehin from the Department of Foreign Languages, Lagos State University. His topic, “The Prophetic Model of Economic Development: Analyzing the Economic Practices and Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),” aims to shed light on ethical financial principles and sustainable economic growth strategies derived from the Prophet’s teachings.

The event will be graced by distinguished personalities, including Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye, SAN, as the Chief Host, Oba Dr. Alatishe Adetoyese, Gbegande of Ososa, as the Royal Father of the day, and Alhaji (Barr.) Adebayo Adesegun as the Chairman of the occasion.
