Opeyemi Imisi Ayanwale has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, claiming the ₦150 million grand prize after 10 intense weeks of strategy, alliances, and drama.

The 23-year-old actress and fashion designer, fondly called Imisi, secured a commanding 42.8% of the votes, ahead of runner-up Dede (15.94%). The results were verified by Deloitte and confirmed by M-Net.

When host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced her as winner during Sunday night’s finale, confetti rained down as housemates and fans erupted in cheers. Donning a white lace outfit with wine aso oke, Imisi broke into tears as she thanked her supporters — the formidable fanbase known as Ijoba 606.

Shocking Evictions Marked the Finale

The road to Imisi’s coronation was paved with surprises. The finale began with the shock eviction of Kayode “Kaybobo” and Isabella George, both fan favourites.

Soon after, Jason Jae and Mensan were evicted, stunning viewers who had tipped them for the finals. Jason’s calm intelligence and Mensan’s creative flair had made them household names.

The biggest emotional moment came when Kola, Sultana, and Koyin were evicted in quick succession, leaving just Imisi and Dede to battle for the crown.

From Underdog to Fan Favourite

Nicknamed “the calm storm,” Imisi distinguished herself with quiet leadership and emotional intelligence. She avoided needless drama yet confronted challenges with maturity, endearing herself to fans across Africa.

Her turning point came in Week 6, when she won the Head of House challenge and led her team to consecutive victories. Her vulnerability in diary sessions and her subtle romance inside the house only deepened her relatability.

She also shone in multiple brand tasks, proving herself creative, hardworking, and versatile.
