JAMB RELEASES 2025 UTME RESULTS, WITHHOLDS 39,834 OVER SUSPECTED MALPRACTICES

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Friday officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), while withholding those of 39,834 candidates over suspected cases of examination malpractice.
Announcing at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede disclosed that the affected results are currently under investigation.
According to him, about 80 individuals are being probed in connection with various infractions during the conduct of the exam, with Anambra State recording the highest number of suspects.
Prof. Oloyede assured that the board remains committed to upholding the integrity of the examination process, warning that candidates found culpable will face appropriate sanctions.
He added that JAMB would continue to scrutinise all reported cases before taking final decisions on the withheld results.
