OGUN GOVT HOLDS TOWN HALL MEETINGS AHEAD OF 2026 BUDGET PREPARATION

The Ogun State Government has announced a series of town hall meetings across the four divisions of the state as part of consultations for the preparation of the 2026 budget.
According to a statement from the state government, the meetings are designed to give residents the opportunity to directly engage Governor Dapo Abiodun and members of his cabinet on the needs and priorities of their communities.
The consultations will begin tomorrow Tuesday, October 14, with the Ijebu Division at Bisrod Hotel, Ijebu-Ode, followed by the Remo Division on Thursday, October 16, at Akarigbo Palace Hall, Sagamu.
The exercise continues in the Yewa Division on Tuesday, October 21, at Frontier Hotel, Ilaro, and will conclude with the Egba Division on Thursday, October 23, at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta.
All meetings are scheduled to start by 11:00 a.m.
The government said the initiative is aimed at ensuring inclusive governance and allowing citizens to contribute to shaping the 2026 fiscal plan based on their developmental needs, including roads, education, healthcare, electricity, water, and job creation
