President Bola Tinubu has embarked on a two-week working visit to Paris, France, where he will assess his administration’s mid-term performance and strategic milestones.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu will use the visit to review ongoing reforms and plan for his administration’s second anniversary. The retreat will focus on deepening economic and policy reforms to accelerate national development.

The Presidency highlighted recent economic progress, citing a rise in Nigeria’s net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion, up from $3.99 billion in 2023, as evidence of successful fiscal policies.

Despite his absence, Tinubu will remain actively engaged with his team and continue overseeing governance remotely. He is expected to return to Nigeria in about two weeks.
