TINUBU MOURNS GHANAIAN MINISTERS KILLED IN HELICOPTER CRASH

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash in Ghana that claimed the lives of two senior cabinet ministers and six others.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu extended condolences to Ghanaian President John Mahama, the government, and the people of Ghana.
Among the victims of the fatal crash were Ghana’s Minister of Defence, Edward Omane Boamah, and the Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed. Reports indicate they were on official duty when the incident occurred.
Describing the loss as a national tragedy, President Tinubu said the thoughts and prayers of Nigerians are with the bereaved families and the entire Ghanaian nation during this period of grief.

“This is a profound national loss,” the statement read
He added that the deceased died in the line of patriotic service and urged their families to find strength in their dedication to national duty.
President Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s solidarity with Ghana, noting that both nations share not only regional ties but also moments of collective grief and resilience.
